Job summary

The Laboratory team at HSHS Medical Group in O’Fallon, IL is seeking a laboratory assistant responsible for specimen collection, handling and processing, order entry, and customer service to deliver accurate test results to the medical staff for diagnosis and treatment.

Schedule: Daytime, 36 hrs/wk, 7am-7pm. Requires a high school diploma or GED; 1 year of laboratory experience is preferred. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and retirement plans; equal opportunity employer.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $18.50 - $26.83 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. Responsible for performing various assigned duties in the areas of specimen collection, handling and processing, order entry, and customer service in order to deliver accurate test results to the medical staff for their use in the diagnosis and treatment of patient illness. Department: Laboratory Core Function: Laboratory Schedule: Daytime, 36 hrs/wk, 7am-7pm Facility: St Elizabeth Hospital Location: O’Fallon, IL Compensation that aligns with your experience.
