Job summary

PAML a Labcorp company in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our production-based clinical lab team. The role supports processing and prep of specimens early mornings, with overtime and weekend rotation possible.

Responsibilities include receiving specimens, data entry, and maintaining equipment and records. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s in lab science is preferred. Competitive benefits and a 3rd shift differential are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science, Biology, or Chemistry preferred.
• Ability to work with biological specimens and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Ensure lab equipment wiring and basic instrumentation maintenance.
• Troubleshoot specimen-related issues and replenish supplies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete record logs and administrative duties.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safety and quality.
