Labcorp in Seattle is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team. The role supports receiving and preparing clinical specimens, data entry, and maintaining lab safety and quality standards. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with responsibilities across specimen handling and processing.

• Comfort with handling biological specimens.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Assemble slides and requisitions for pathology review.
• Clarify specimen sites and testing.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Maintain equipment and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
• Troubleshoot specimen-related issues.
• Prepare and send out specimens for testing.
• Send and receive material for second opinions.
• Replenish tech bench supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safety and quality.
