Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Lab Technician to perform waived laboratory testing, collect specimens, and report results with accuracy. The role requires adherence to safety policies and quality control, supporting nurses and physicians in patient care, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of laboratory principles and methodologies to perform waived testing.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and sample collection.
• Ability to produce rapid, reliable lab results under high volume.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality and rapid lab results with knowledge of analyses and safety procedures.
• Follow procedures for specimen collection, handling, processing, reporting and record maintenance.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document activities under supervision.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with patient care and respond to lab/x-ray needs.
