Job summary

Kettering Health Miamisburg is seeking a Lab Assistant for night shifts. The role supports specimen collection, processing, and preparation to facilitate timely diagnostic testing. You will maintain equipment and ensure precise documentation in alignment with safety and regulatory standards.

Preferred candidates have 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy or specimen processing experience, with a high school diploma or GED. Ohio driver’s license may be required for specimen transport responsibilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Lab Assistant supports laboratory operations by collecting, processing, and preparing specimens, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation to facilitate timely and reliable diagnostic testing. This role contributes to patient care, safety, and operational reliability by following regulatory standards and supporting efficient laboratory workflows. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
