Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties including computer entry, filing, and telephone communication.
• Greet patients and visitors politely and professionally.
• Demonstrate good communication skills and knowledge of laboratory test terminology.
• Collect specimens using phlebotomy techniques, from patients of all ages.
• Process specimens for various laboratory departments and reference labs.
• Maintain inventory and stock supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness of storage and collection areas.
• Prepare specimens for testing and assist in instrument maintenance and quality control as trained.
• Assist in pathology with training and evaluation, and perform runner duties as needed.

Qualifications

1. HS Diploma or equivalent required.
2. At least 1 year of relevant clinical laboratory experience preferred.
3. State Certified as CPT I or CPT II if required by state.
4. Current BCLS (AHA) certification preferred.

The estimated starting pay for this role is $24.00/hour, with exact compensation to be determined based on experience, education, and credentials.
