Job summary

Actalent is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to support our testing team in Tustin, CA. The role involves assisting with sample preparation and ensuring lab processes are executed efficiently to meet turnaround goals.

The position is contract to hire, onsite in Tustin, with shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 1pm to 9:30pm. Pay ranges between $21.00 and $23.00 per hour, with eligibility for available benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences required.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in sample preparation and lab testing.
• Familiarity with pipetting, assays, dilutions, media preparation, aseptic techniques, and staining.

Work Environment

The role is based in a lab setting that requires standing on your feet and handling a high volume of samples. The position requires working overtime as necessary, with shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 1pm to 9:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tustin, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
