Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated in Massachusetts is seeking an Application Analyst II to support laboratory applications and workflows across clinical pathology operations.

You will partner with lab staff, pathologists, clinicians, vendors, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, drive deployments, and improve system performance. This role is hybrid with onsite 1x weekly and MGB equipment provided.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience developing, supporting, or operating software applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day application support by responding to end-user incidents, service requests, and system-related issues.
• Troubleshoot application, interface, hardware, peripheral, and instrumentation issues in collaboration with laboratory stakeholders, vendors, and internal technical teams.
• Participate in application implementations, upgrades, testing, configuration, workflow optimization, and change management activities.
• Develop and execute test plans, perform software quality assurance tasks, and support reliable system performance.
• Create and maintain end-user documentation, provide training, and help users confidently operate supported applications.
• Run reports, update tables, maintain application data, and complete operational tasks that support the software environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce disruptions, and strengthen application support processes.
