Westbourne IT Global Services is seeking a Lab Application Support Analyst to join the Lab IT services team in Foster City, CA. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent IT work experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience of scripting, coding or parsing scripts.
• Solid understanding of relational database management systems.
• Experience in GMP pharmaceutical environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide second level IT support to mission critical core applications.
• Resolve problems, perform in-depth analysis and document recommendations.
• Troubleshoot issues including simulation and resolution.
• Liaise with application vendors to co-ordinate problem resolution.
• Review Service Now incident queues daily with Lab users and management.
• Identify enhancements based on repeating issues.
• Monitor lab activities for efficient use of the lab system.
• Develop end-user reports.
• Communicate effectively in a mature corporate environment.
