Qualifications

• SRA or ALAT certification preferred; begin SRA certification within 2 years of hire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn additional applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation maintenance of surgical equipment.
• Stocking standard surgical supplies.
• Sterilization and preparation of surgical suites, equipment, and tools.
• Surgical sanitation and aseptic technique with site preparation.
• Drug calculation and administration for various administration routes.
• Use of anesthesia machines and patient monitoring.
• Intubation, induction of anesthesia, and ventilation support.
• Data collection and record review.
• Handling of laboratory animals and potential humane euthanasia.
