Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience required.
• ALAT certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office core applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with restraint, handling, and manipulation of animal species.
• Perform animal observations to monitor health and study progress.
• Collect and record data in paper and/or LIMS per GLP.
• Introduction to data review for GLP compliance.
• Sample collection including non-sterile scrub, blood draws, and urine collection.
• Drug administration including eye drops, tablets, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
• Basic anesthesia monitoring including intubation/extubation and animal warming.
• May serve as a secondary Point Technician on a study.
• May assist with animal husbandry (feeding, watering, enrichment).
• Perform other training or duties as assigned.
