Qualifications

• Three years related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect clinical care of research animals including health assessment and handling.
• Provides veterinary technical support for surgical procedures and anesthesia.
• Supports experimental procedures involving research animals and specimen collection.
• Monitors and maintains veterinary drug and supply inventory across campuses.
• Assists in pathology lab and maintains health records.
• Prepares and maintains animal procedure areas and trains staff.
• Guides Animal Care Technician - Associate and research personnel on care procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
