Job summary

Materion Laboratory is seeking a Lab Analyst I to support the Quality department with sample preparation and analytical testing. You will work with techniques such as ICP-OES, Metallography, GDMSTensile Testing, SEM/EDX, and data entry for ISO 17025 compliance.

Preference given to candidates with a STEM degree and 2+ years of analytical experience; strong Excel, LIMS and SAP skills are required, along with strict attention to detail and procedural compliance.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year STEM degree preferred.
• 2+ years of analytical experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in English reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation and analytical testing per procedures.
• Train and assist Lab Analyst II and department lead as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and proper PPE usage.
• Utilize QMS, LIMS, SAP and Excel in daily operations.
