SGS's Clovis, CA laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to prepare and analyze samples with accuracy following SGS SOPs. The role requires independent work and team collaboration to meet daily targets, maintain hold and turnaround times, and apply basic analytical chemistry principles.

Qualificações

• Associate Degree in a Chemistry or similar scientific discipline with 0–2 years in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories or 3 years in Sample Prep (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Chemistry or similar scientific discipline with 1–2 years of relevant Analytical Chemistry Laboratory experience (Preferred)
• Advanced English language skills (Required)
• Strong mathematical and reasoning skills (Required)
• Basic computer skills (Required)
• Ability to lift/carry/push or pull upwards of 25 lbs on a frequent basis (Required)

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and analyze samples according to SGS SOPs using department-specific instrumentation
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments/equipment
• May assist with validation and MDL studies
• Assist with investigations and responses to client inquiries and CARs
• Input and maintain technical information to support laboratory operations
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook where applicable
• Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures
