Job summary

Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, MD is seeking a Lab Admin Assistant to join our team. The role focuses on laboratory support, policy compliance, and daily patient reports while enabling collaboration with IVF and Andrology teams.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or higher and is eager to gain laboratory experience in a national fertility network. Compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, with full-time hours Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Higher.
• Training is provided but clinical/research laboratory experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office Experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow all policies and procedures in the laboratory manuals.
• Daily phone calls to communicate daily patient reports.
• Keep supply inventories within prescribed levels; non-stock items require signature of the laboratory director or technical supervisor.
• Perform daily entry of SART cycles as needed.
• Perform duties related to embryo and sperm transports, including all transports incoming and outgoing.
• Maintain SART data entry log and transfer entries into the database.
• Primarily involved in day-to-day communication of the IVF and Andrology laboratories.
• Responsible for insuring compliance with CAP guidelines and regulations as it relates to SART.
• Embryo donation documentation and communication with outside facilities and in-house documentation.
• Scanning IVF lab files and documentation; embryo storage letters and payments processing.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Lab Admin Assistantto join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, Maryland.

• Schedule:Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Lab Admin Assistant will:

• Read and follow all policies and procedures in the laboratory manuals
• Daily phone calls to communicate daily patient reports
• Keep supply inventories within prescribed levels. Non-stock items require the laboratory director’s and/or technical supervisor’s signature
• Perform daily entry of SART cycles as needed
• Perform duties related to embryo and sperm transports. This will include all transports, both incoming and outgoing
• Maintain SART data entry log accurately and transfer entries into the appropriate database file
• Primarily involved in the day to day communication of the IVF and Andrology laboratories
• Proficient at performing any and all standard communications in the laboratories
• Responsible for insuring compliance with all CAP guidelines and regulations as it relates to SART
• Primarily responsible for embryo donation including, but not limited to, documentation and communication with outside facilities and in-house documentation as it relates to embryo donation
• Primarily responsible for scanning IVF lab files and documentation
• Primarily responsible for Embryo Storage letters and documentation of payments received. The ability to receive and process payments
• Maintain IVF filing system
