Job summary

Exagen is seeking a Laboratory Associate (Accessioner I) in Vista, CA. This role focuses on receiving, accessioning, aliquoting, and data entry of laboratory samples, with responsibilities spanning pre-analytical activities, freezer storage, and SOP adherence.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with science coursework preferred and must be able to work Tue–Sat, with overtime as needed. Compensation ranges are provided, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s/Associate degree or college courses in Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and verify incoming samples and paperwork.
• Perform accessioning and accurate data entry of samples, utilizing the Laboratory Information System.
• Manage freezer sample storage.
• Assist with other pre-analytical activities as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and maintain temperature logs.
• Follow all procedures (SOPs) and safety policies.
