Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Los Angeles to support the LA28 Olympic/Paralympic Games. The role is on-site, coordinating scope, schedule, and budget for major venue infrastructure while guiding design-build teams and subcontractors.

The position emphasizes management of retrofits for large sports venues, change management, and ensuring project objectives align with a stringent construction program. This is a non-hybrid, on-site role based in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Experience in retrofitting existing buildings and to fit for new purpose/use which includes structural modifications and MEFP upgrades.
• Experience in management of design-build contractors
• Ability to compose and buy out scopes of work
• Experience with sports venues either permanent construction or temporary construction
• Change Management experience – both on the cost side also in general – ability to adapt to changes in schedule and sequencing

Responsibilities

• Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
• Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
