Job summary

AECOM Hunt has an opportunity for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team and support the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, CA. You will oversee planning, design and construction management activities and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-profile venues on schedule and within budget.

Minimum requirements include a BS in Construction Management/Engineering with 10 years of CM experience and at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • BS Construction Management/Engineering and 10 years of relevant construction management experience and 2 years of leadership or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegates assignment to subordinate managers.
  • Reviews objectives to determine success of operation.
  • Develops, modifies, executes company polices that affect immediate operations and may have company-wide effect.
  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
  • Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day basis.

Job duties:

  • BS Construction Management/Engineering and 10 years of relevant construction management experience and 2 years of leadership ordemonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in retrofitting existing buildings and to fit for new purpose/use which includes structural modifications and MEFP upgrades.
  • Experience in management of design-build contractors
  • Ability to compose and buy out scopes of work
  • Experience with sports venues either permanent construction or temporary construction
  • Change Management experience – both on the cost side also in general – ability to adapt to changes in schedule and sequencing
    • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.

    • This position is not hybrid nor remote.
