Job summary

AECOM Hunt in Los Angeles seeks a Construction Project Manager to join the LA28 Olympic/Paralympic Games venue infrastructure effort. This on-site role provides overall project management governance, guiding design, construction, and budget adherence while coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

The position requires a BS in Construction Management or engineering and a minimum of four years of PM experience; preference for sports-venue experience.

Qualifications

  • BS Construction Management/Engineering or equivalent; 4 years PM experience.
  • Experience in retrofitting existing buildings and MEFP upgrades.
  • Experience in management of design-build contractors.
  • Ability to define and buy out scopes of work.
  • Experience with sports venues (permanent or temporary).
  • Change Management experience in cost and scheduling.

  • Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
  • Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

AECOM Hunt has an opportunity for a Construction Project Manager to join our team of professionals in Los Angeles, CA. This position will support our team on LA28 and we anticipate to fill this role in late 2026.

  • Experience with sports venues either permanent construction or temporary construction
  • Change Management experience – both on the cost side also in general – ability to adapt to changes in schedule and sequencing
