Job summary

Apera in Los Angeles is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to shape the people strategy and build teams that scale toward a $1B valuation. You'll own end-to-end talent acquisition across LA, develop strong pipelines, and partner with leaders to define greatness for each role.

This role requires proactive sourcing, strategic thinking, and a passion for building a high-growth culture at Apera. You'll influence hiring decisions, shape employer branding, and help create a world-class function

Qualifications

• Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or executive search.
• Strong experience sourcing and engaging candidates proactively.
• Ability to recruit across multiple levels, from junior to senior leadership.
• Excellent knowledge of the Los Angeles talent market.
• Strong stakeholder management and consultative approach.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end talent acquisition across Los Angeles, from graduate hires to Director-level appointments.
• Build deep, high-quality talent pipelines across the LA market.
• Proactively identify exceptional people rather than waiting for applications.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to define what “great” looks like for every role.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to reach high-performing, hard-to-find talent.
• Build relationships with candidates before they actively move.
• Represent Apera in the market and advocate for our vision and growth.
• Bring data, structure and rigour to our hiring process at scale.
• Continuously improve how we attract, assess and hire talent.
• Help shape our employer brand and perception among top LA talent.
• Contribute to building a world-class talent acquisition function to support growth.
