Figure 8 PM is seeking a full-time, off-site Property Manager to oversee 650+ units in Los Angeles. You will manage tenant relations, leases, notices, and inspections while coordinating with leasing agents and vendors.

The role requires strong organization, communication skills, and on-site/off-site adaptability. Responsibilities include file organization, rent actions, and guest-centric short-term rental support with attention to detail and calm conflict handling.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of property management experience preferred.
• Highly organized and adaptable, with a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse clientele, vendors, guests, and tenants.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and task management skills.
• Highly focused, with thoughtful attention to detail and accuracy.
• Attentive to tenant needs while keeping client interests in mind.
• Adept in conflict resolution and remaining calm with complaints and difficult situations.
• Familiarity and experience with Google Drive and Appfolio preferred.
• Bilingual is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with tenants, clients, and vendors via phone, email, and in-person communication.
• Organize and maintain files and documents digitally and manually for all properties.
• Process rental applications, draft and enforce leases, schedule rent increases, and create notices.
• Drive to properties as needed to post notices, attend inspections, and meet with vendors.
• Observe and inspect properties, take photos, and recommend improvements and repairs.
• Coordinate unit turnover with leasing agents.
• Perform general data entry as necessary.
• Assist with short-term rental properties and Airbnbs.
• Create and update listing descriptions and comprehensive guest manuals for properties.
• Manage guest inquiries and booking calendar through short-term rental websites.
• Ensure all rentals are delivered to guests on time and in pristine condition.
• On-call availability for after-hours emergency calls and emails.
