Job summary

Security Services Northwest, Inc. is seeking an Armed/Unarmed Flex Guard in La Grande, Oregon. The position requires a current Oregon security license, a clean criminal record, and a valid driver’s license.

The role offers hourly pay from $24.00 to $30.00 with health, vision, EAP, and PTO benefits. Ability to work various shifts, on-call, and non-traditional hours is required. Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, escorts, DAR reporting, and collaboration with law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon State Unarmed Security Guard License is required.
• Must have a clean criminal record and driving record.
• Must have a VALID driver’s license.
• 2-4 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement) preferred.
• EMT background is a huge plus.
• Smartphone to access scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting apps.
• Availability to work any shift (days, swings, graveyard).
• Must be ok with working on-call.
• Reliable transportation.
• Honesty and integrity are essential.
• Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Knowledge of security protocols and equipment.

• Monitor activities
• Access Control
• Safety escorts
• Represent SSNW’s brand
• Wear the issued uniform
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
• Work with local law enforcement and emergency services
• Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors
• Follow department procedures
• Other duties as described in Post Orders

• Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
• Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
