Wheely is launching in Los Angeles and we are hiring a General Manager to lead the market buildout. You will own the P&L, establish the operation, and shape the brand as Wheely scales in LA, reporting to the CEO.

The role requires 7+ years operating experience, with bonus points for investment banking or consulting backgrounds, and residency in Los Angeles. Competitive base, bonus, and equity accompany the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or Economics from a leading university.
• Minimum 7 years total experience, including 5+ years in high-growth tech, investment banking, strategy consulting, VC or private equity.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical / problem-solving skills.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• P&L responsibility for Los Angeles.
• The offline product: pricing, availability and fleet composition.
• Four local teams.
• Driver Operations.
• Quality & Training (Chauffeur Academy).
• Sales (Wheely for Business).
• Marketing.
• Launch and expansion strategy across Los Angeles and surrounding markets.
• Drive business development and partnerships.
• Collaboration with central Product team on the passenger and chauffeur experience.
• Regulatory strategy: navigating California licensing and compliance.
• External representation: press and partnerships.
