Job summary

Wheely is expanding to Los Angeles and seeking an operator with 7+ years of experience to lead the LA market before the first ride. You will build the founding team, secure fleet and chauffeurs, establish operations, and own the P&L and brand in LA.

You will report to the CEO and work with the US expansion team to position Wheely in a top luxury market. You will drive pricing, partnerships, and local growth while collaborating closely with central product and regulatory teams to navigate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or Economics from a leading university.
• 7+ years total experience, 5+ years in high-growth tech, investment banking, strategy consulting, VC or private equity.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; professional fluency in English; based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• P&L responsibility for Los Angeles.
• Offline product: pricing, availability and fleet composition.
• Four local teams: Driver Operations, Quality & Training, Sales (Wheely for Business), Marketing.
• Launch and expansion strategy across Los Angeles and surrounding markets.
• Drive business development, identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities and partnerships.
• Collaborate with central Product team on passenger and chauffeur experience.
• Regulatory strategy: navigating California licensing and compliance.
