The Architect’s Newspaper, LLC seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth for its Los Angeles studio. You will work with firm leadership to identify opportunities, shape strategy, and position the team for success in pursuing new work across Southern California.

You will lead strategy, market research, and pursuit activities, coordinating with leadership, marketing, and technical staff to craft compelling proposals and prepare for shortlisted interviews.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years in business development, marketing, or client development in A/E/C or related professional services.
• Strong knowledge of the Los Angeles and Southern California real estate and development market.
• Proven success managing pursuits and developing winning proposals for design or professional services firms.
• Experience leading shortlist interviews and client presentations.
• Experience managing an opportunity pipeline in a CRM with accurate tracking of leads, pursuits, win/loss data, and client contacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to craft persuasive narratives for senior audiences.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (Deltek Vantagepoint or Salesforce) and with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines across concurrent pursuits.
• Established network of client/industry relationships in LA market desired.
• Experience spanning strategy and hands-on execution in a mid-size firm is desired.
• Active involvement in industry organizations (SMPS, ULI, AIA, CoreNet, NAIOP) desired.

Responsabilidades

• Develop annual business development plans, revenue targets, and market sector priorities for the Los Angeles office.
• Partner with regional leadership to align LA pursuits with strategy and build the pipeline, including support for San Francisco as needed.
• Track and report BD metrics to firm leadership.
• Keep the opportunity pipeline and CRM accurate and current.
