Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on commercial construction, renovation, and development projects. You will assist the Project Superintendent to coordinate on-site activities, supervise subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality from start to finish.

The role requires 2+ years of field experience, reading drawings, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction field experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial, institutional, industrial, or multifamily construction projects is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and construction best practices.
• Proficiency with construction management software, Microsoft Office, and field technology tools is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities.
• Assist in managing subcontractors to ensure work aligns with project timelines and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and report updates to the construction team.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations on-site.
• Support the scheduling and planning of construction milestones.
• Inspect work for adherence to specifications and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with the project manager to address any on-site challenges.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities and progress.
