Job summary

Gcs-Recruitment-Specialists is seeking an L3 IT Support Engineer to support critical infrastructure across multiple Operations facilities. The role involves hands-on hardware deployment, fault isolation and live-site troubleshooting, with onsite support during peak periods for Amazon sites.

Applicants should have 1+ year in data-center or live facilities, experience imaging hardware, and a solid grasp of Layer 1/2 networking, Windows 11, and Linux CLI.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in a data center, or live-site environment.
Experience building, imaging and deploying hardware at scale.
Strong hardware knowledge and familiarity with networking basics.
Comfortable with Windows 11 and Linux command line.
Ability to follow documented SOPs and troubleshoot effectively.

Responsibilities

Build, image, configure and deploy hardware across facilities.
Support devices, peripherals and connectivity issues.
Perform Layer 1/2 troubleshooting, cabling, patching and diagnostics.
Install fiber, structured cabling and rack-and-stack activities.
Manage change tasks and operate per SOPs.
Respond to incidents in a live environment and escalate when needed.
Maintain tickets in enterprise systems and assist new teammates.
