IAG is seeking a Level 2 NDT Technician to perform on-site inspections of vessels, tanks, and piping at client facilities. The role is hybrid with work at a client site and travel commitments to support project needs and timelines.
The ideal candidate will bring L2 NDT certification with verifiable hours, MT/PT/VT/UT capabilities, and a technical degree or equivalent experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check are required.

This is a full-time opportunity with IAG. This is considered a hybrid role and will work at a client facility completing scans and testing.
The job will be located in Waterford NY through November 2027.

The Level 2 NDT Technician is responsible for onsite inspections of vessels, tanks, and piping for the customer. The goal of the Technician is Operation Excellence and Technical Quality.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to sit/stand for long periods of time; routinely walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move more than 50 pounds occasionally. The physical environment for this position requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions in extreme temperatures and weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Double hearing protection is occasionally required. The position consists of a standard 40-hour workweek, with overtime as the customer requires and during turnaround periods. Minimum travel is required. Must be comfortable in confined spaces and willing to wear SCBA (Self containing breathing apparatus) on a semi-routine basis.
