Job summary

Prisca Nova LLC in Bonita Springs, FL is hiring an IT Support Technician to join our early team and own day-to-day IT tasks for small business clients. You’ll handle Windows and Mac support, Microsoft 365 setup, onboarding/offboarding, and documentation with a focus on reliability and communication.

Prisca Nova is a Florida-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering IT support, Microsoft 365, cloud, and cybersecurity services to small and mid-sized businesses with a growing specialty in Apple/Mac environments. We're hiring one of our very first technical hires in Bonita Springs which means real ownership, real variety, and a real path to full-time as we grow, not just another ticket queue.

This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands‑on IT work, likes solving problems, communicates well with clients, and is excited about joining a startup environment where every week may look a little different.

You will not be expected to know everything on day one. We care more about reliability, communication, documentation, customer service, and willingness to learn than knowing every system perfectly.

What You’ll Do

As a IT Support Technician, you’ll assist with day-to-day IT support, client onboarding, Microsoft 365 setup, endpoint setup, documentation, and basic troubleshooting across both Windows and Mac environments.

Responsibilities may include:

• Responding to and updating support tickets
• Troubleshooting Windows PCs, software issues, printers, email, and basic networking problems
• Assisting with Microsoft 365 setup, user management, password resets, and basic administration
• Helping onboard new users and offboard departing users
• Setting up laptops, desktops, and basic client equipment Windows and Mac
• Supporting Mac/iPhone onboarding, PC-to-Mac migrations, and Apple device setup for clients
• Installing approved security, monitoring, and remote access tools
• Assisting with cloud file/email migrations under guidance
• Visiting client sites in Bonita Springs, Naples, Estero, Fort Myers, and nearby areas when needed
• Documenting client environments, procedures, credentials, and completed work
• Escalating issues when they are outside your experience level
• Participating in client discussions when technical input is needed

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is early in their IT career but has real hands‑on experience and a strong desire to grow.

You may be a good fit if you have:

• 1+ year of hands‑on IT support experience, such as helpdesk, school IT, Geek Squad, MSP, internal IT, or similar
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Ability to troubleshoot common hardware, software, email, and networking issues
• Comfort with macOS and iOS, or strong interest in learning the Apple ecosystem
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A professional, reliable, and organized approach to work
• A willingness to document your work and follow checklists
• The judgment to ask questions or elevate instead of guessing
• A valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to client sites within approximately 30 miles of Bonita Springs

Nice to Have:

• CompTIA A+ certification or working toward it
• Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or willingness to pursue Apple/Mac support certification, we’ll support training for the right candidate
• Experience with ticketing systems, RMM tools, or remote access tools (we use Mosyle for Apple device management)
• Exposure to MSP environments
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
• Experience setting up new computers, printers, networks, Microsoft 365 accounts, or Apple devices

Schedule:

This is a part‑time W2 position to start.

Expected schedule:

• Approximately 15–20 hours per week to start
• Work generally takes place during normal business hours
• Occasional after‑hours or weekend work may be available if client needs require it
• Hybrid structure: some remote work, some client‑site visits, and occasional meetings at our Bonita Springs office

Our office is located near Bonita Beach Road and Old 41.

Compensation

We’re looking for the right person to grow with us.

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
• Paid biweekly through Gusto payroll
• W2 employment with applicable taxes withheld
• Additional compensation for approved after-hours or on‑call work
• Mileage reimbursement for approved client‑site visits
