We provide full outsourced IT services, including help desk support, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 services, cloud solutions, networking, integration services, disaster recovery, and strategic IT guidance to organizations across a variety of industries.
We are seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist with two or more years of relevant experience who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and working with a wide range of technologies and client environments. This is a primarily remote position, but candidates must live in South Florida and be available for occasional onsite client visits. Reliable transportation is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and onsite technical support for end users.
- Assist clients with a wide variety of technology issues, ranging from simple end-user support requests to more complex networking, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic MSP environment, using the PSA ticketing system, RMM platform, and other MSP tools to prioritize and resolve a broad range of client requests, system alerts, deployments, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
- Own assigned tickets from initial response through resolution, including timely client communication, follow-up, documentation, escalation, and closure.
- Troubleshoot Windows workstations, Windows Servers, printers, networking equipment, and business applications.
- Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory Domain Controllers, DHCP, and DNS.
- Deploy and configure firewalls, routers, and managed switches, and maintain wireless networks and other network infrastructure.
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, primarily tenant management, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Troubleshoot, deploy, and support printers, multifunction devices, and related business technology.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Proactively review monitoring, security, and backup alerts, investigate potential issues, and take appropriate action before they affect the client.
- Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including endpoint protection, email security, multi-factor authentication, vulnerability remediation, and security awareness.
- Participate in client projects, migrations, upgrades, and technology deployments.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records within the PSA ticketing system. Create and maintain clear technical documentation, client records, checklists, and standard procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional, positive attitude when working with clients.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with clients, even when additional research or escalation is required.
- Maintain availability during normal business hours and occasionally assist with scheduled evening or weekend deployments, maintenance, or urgent client issues.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of relevant IT support or systems administration experience preferred; equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server, including Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS administration.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, particularly tenant management and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, switching, routing, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience troubleshooting common business applications including Microsoft 365 applications, Adobe products, QuickBooks, and similar software.
- Previous help desk or end‑user support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues in simple, non‑technical language.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional when assisting users who are frustrated, under pressure, unable to work, or experiencing business‑impacting issues.
- A genuine desire to help people and ensure users feel supported, even when they do not understand the technology involved.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and client requests in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through resolution.
- A reliable high‑speed internet connection and a suitable remote workspace, along with a dependable smartphone and notebook computer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Experience with PSA ticketing systems and RMM platforms in an MSP environment; experience with Autotask PSA and Datto RMM is strongly preferred.
- Experience deploying and configuring firewalls, routers, managed switches, and wireless networks.
- Familiarity with Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, and HPE Aruba networking, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, or similar.
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role
The most successful technicians are not necessarily the ones who know the most technology. They are the ones who can communicate clearly, stay organized, learn quickly, take ownership of issues, and build trust with clients by delivering excellent service.
Successful candidates enjoy helping people, take pride in solving problems, and can comfortably manage multiple client environments while maintaining a high level of customer service.
What We Offer
- Exposure to a wide variety of technologies, industries, and business environments.
- Opportunities for certification, training, and professional growth.
- The chance to grow alongside a successful and expanding MSP, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility as the company continues to grow.
- Primarily remote work, with occasional onsite visits for installations, deployments, and hands‑on support throughout South Florida.
- A collaborative team environment focused on exceptional client service and long‑term client relationships.
Technicians are encouraged to take ownership of issues, work directly with clients, and develop expertise across a broad range of technologies rather than being limited to a single specialization.
