Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a licensed LPN to provide nursing care within scope of practice in Montana. This position offers travel flexibility as a 1099 traveler and allows you to stay within Montana while acting as your own boss.

Ideal candidates have an active LPN license in the state, with one year of nursing management experience preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply and may grow with us in a rewarding setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met.
• Demonstrates knowledge and use of infection control procedures.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient education.
• Administers medications and treatments per facility policy.
• Notifies departments of patient changes and admissions/discharges.

Objective

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LPN in state
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred, Not Required
