100 LCMC Health is seeking an RN Staff Nurse for Labor & Delivery (L&D) on a PRN nights schedule. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care in accordance with standards of care and hospital policies, and delegates to both professional and non-professional staff to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes safe patient environments, effective handoffs, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient throughput and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Nursing license or temporary permit valid for practice in Louisiana.
• American Heart Association BLS-HCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care according to standards and policies.
• Delegate to professional and non-professional staff involved in care.
• Maintain a safe environment and coordinate care across shifts.
• Participate in infection control and quality improvement initiatives.
