Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans, LA seeks an RN Staff Nurse for Labor & Delivery (L&D) on nights as a PRN role. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced obstetric setting, ensuring safety and adherence to policy.

Collaborate with the care team to prioritize patient needs, monitor maternal and neonatal status, and participate in quality improvement activities to enhance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license or temporary permit valid in Louisiana.
• BLS-Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Delivers safe, effective nursing care following standards and policies.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality and throughput.
