Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Job in West Bloomfield, MI. Compensation and Details

• Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322 (Detroit metro area)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 6, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), 3x12s
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Hourly Pay Rate: $48–$62/hr
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,830–$1,880

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Delegate, supervise, and document nursing care and patient education for families
• Communicate patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team
• Participate in problem-solving and implement solutions to achieve patient care goals

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Post-Partum nursing experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical skills and analytical abilities in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• BSN preferred
