Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units in Arizona. The role features a 3x12-hour shift schedule (36 hours per week) and a day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with postpartum float as needed.

The nurse will monitor mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery, assist with deliveries, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe outcomes. Active AZ RN license required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona (Required).
• BLS certification (Required).
• ACLS and NRP certifications typically required for L&D roles.
• Postpartum experience required.
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units
• Monitor maternal and newborn status during labor, delivery, and recovery
• Assist with deliveries and postpartum patient care
• Float to postpartum unit as needed based on staffing and census
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe outcomes
