Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse with postpartum experience to join our team in an on-site Arizona facility. Responsibilities include labor, delivery, and postpartum care, with flexibility to float between units and maintain patient-centered care.

The candidate must hold an active RN license in Arizona (or a compact state) and have BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, plus 1–2 years in L&D and strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state.
• 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Postpartum experience and willingness to float between units.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including interpreting fetal heart rate tracings.
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery procedures.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Deliver postpartum care, including assessments of mother and infant, pain management, and discharge planning.
• Float to postpartum unit as needed based on staffing and patient care needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
