Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a qualified RN – Labor & Delivery for a contract assignment in Arizona. The role provides direct nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients and supports obstetric teams.

The position requires a current AZ RN license, labor & delivery experience, BLS, and strong clinical and communication skills; ACLS/NALS preferred. Day shifts, no guaranteed hours, and a professional team environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state.
• Labor & Delivery experience required.
• BLS certification; ACLS/NALS preferred depending on facility.
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians during deliveries and obstetric procedures.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety standards.
