Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency seeks an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care in Queen Creek, Arizona. This position requires an active RN license in Arizona along with BLS certification. Nurses will provide critical support during labor, monitor maternal and newborn health, and assist with deliveries. Night shifts involving 3x12-hour schedules are expected. Preferred candidates will also have experience in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and NRP preferred.

Job description

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Shift: Night Shift

Shift Time: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Float Requirement: Postpartum (based on census and staffing needs)

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units

Monitor maternal and newborn status during labor and recovery

Assist with deliveries and postpartum patient care as needed

Float to postpartum unit based on staffing and census needs

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe outcomes

Job Requirements

Licensure/Certifications:

Active RN license in the state of Arizona (Required)

BLS (Required)

ACLS and NRP (typically required for L&D)

Experience:

Postpartum experience required

Labor & Delivery experience preferred

Scrubs: Navy scrubs with navy warm-up jacket required

Setting: Labor & Delivery / Postpartum units
