Job summary

ARCO Companies is seeking an L&D Coordinator to keep learning programs running by managing logistics, LMS learner data, and vendor coordination. The role partners with the L&D Program Managers and Learning Technology Specialist to handle day-to-day administration and communications that support effective program design and delivery.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years in a similar role (learning and development, event planning, office management) or relevant degree field
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Outlook calendar management tools
  • Experience with sourcing, vetting, and managing vendors for events
  • Experience with event management or project management
  • Proactive, with excellent attention to detail and follow-through, strong sense of urgency to drive results

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage training content library, calendars, and associate learning record data
  • Serve as first point of contact for learning event logistical questions or LMS troubleshooting
  • Manage internal event calendars, inboxes, associate learning sites, and program tools & platforms
  • Coordinate concurrent learning events, including working with vendors and internal partners, implementing communication plans, managing roster logistics, and day‑of problem-solving
  • Source and manage vendors for catering, AV equipment, decorations, and other event services
  • Arrange all logistical elements, including AV setup, seating, transportation, and signage, to ensure a smooth participant experience
  • Maintain various logs for L&D team events and initiatives, including event plans and team dashboards

ABOUT YOU

The L&D Coordinator keeps ARCO Murray's learning programs running — managing logistics, LMS learner data, and vendor coordination, and scheduling everything from brainstorm meetings to training events. This role will work closely with the L&D Program Manager s and Learning Technology Specialist, handling the day-to-day administration and communication that support excellent program design and delivery.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Maintain and manage training content library, calendars, and associate learning record data
  • Serve as first point of contact for learning event logistical questions or learning management system troubleshooting
  • Manage internal event calendars, inboxes, associate learning sites, and program tools & platforms
  • Coordinate concurrent learning events, including working with vendors and internal partners, implementing communication plans, managing roster logistics, and day‑of problem-solving
  • Source and manage vendors for catering, audio‑visual equipment, decorations, and other event services
  • Arrange all logistical elements, including audiovisual setup, seating, transportation, and signage, to ensure a smooth participant experience
  • Maintain various logs for L&D team events and initiatives, including event plans and team dashboards
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-3 years in a similar role (learning and development, event planning, office management)or relevant degree field(Hospitality Management, Business Administration,Talent Development)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Outlook calendar management tools
  • Experience with sourcing, vetting, and managing vendors for events
  • Experience with event management or project management
  • Proactive, with excellent attention to detail and follow-through, strong sense of urgency to drive results.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities with consistent communication
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills are a must
  • Experience with designing training materials in MS PowerPoint preferred
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
  • Experience with eLearning tools (Articulate360) are a plus
