Job summary

ARCO is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist who coordinates enterprise learning programs, handles logistics, and partners with facilitators and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality learner experiences.

You will prepare facilitators, develop content, and may facilitate sessions, using LMS, Articulate, and other tools to drive structured, measurable learning outcomes across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proactive team member with strong attention to detail and urgency to drive results.
  • Experience sourcing, vetting, and managing events.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and push back on stakeholders when necessary.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (interpersonal and written/verbal).
  • Familiarity with project management, stakeholder management, and results tracking tools.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented when problems arise.
  • Experience with event or project management.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred.
  • Experience with public speaking or facilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare facilitators with agendas, materials, technology, talking points, and other delivery resources.
  • Create and refine learning materials, including slides, handouts, communications, worksheets, and job aids.
  • Facilitate selected content and activities in a clear, engaging, and practical way.
  • Build strong relationships across teams to coordinate priorities and support a consistent learner experience.
  • Use the LMS and related tools to manage enrollments, learner records, reporting, and program administration.
  • Analyze learner and program data to evaluate effectiveness, identify trends, and inform recommendations.
  • Improve program processes, tools, content, and communications while documenting repeatable practices.
  • Use AI tools, Articulate, and other learning technologies to support engaging and efficient learning experiences.

The Learning & Development Specialist coordinates and delivers established enterprise learning programs across ARCO. This role manages logistics and event execution, partners with facilitators and internal stakeholders, and supports consistent, high-quality learner experiences. The Specialist prepares facilitators and materials, contributes to instructional design and content development, and may facilitate selected content.

They build relationships across teams, use learner and program data to inform decisions, and identify improvements to processes, tools, and outcomes. This role suits someone who enjoys learning, sharing knowledge, and bringing structure, curiosity, and follow-through to learning initiatives.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proactive team member, with excellent attention to detail and follow-through, strong sense of urgency to drive results
  • Experience with sourcing, vetting, and managing vendors for events
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and push back on stakeholders when necessary
  • Strong analytical skills: strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills is a must.
  • Familiarity with tools and practices for project management, stakeholder management, and results tracking
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented in the face of problems
  • Experience with event management or project management
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
  • Experience with public speaking or facilitation preferred.
