Job summary

Binance is expanding its Customer Service team to strengthen onboarding and KYC/KYB compliance across the US. The role focuses on handling client inquiries, gathering evidence for due diligence, and escalating compliance risks.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Compliance, and Product to ensure accurate, timely processing and maintain high standards of customer support. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in onboarding/compliance, strong AML/CFT knowledge, and fluency in English and Japanese

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Customer Support/KYC/KYB/Onboarding/Compliance roles with regulatory knowledge.
• Fluent English and Japanese for coordination with overseas partners.
• Proficiency with KYC/KYB processes and risk assessments.
• Experience with AML/CFT controls and escalation of issues.

Responsibilities

• Handle and review client onboarding inquiries (Individuals/Corporates).
• Coordinate with Front Office, Compliance, Product to obtain supporting evidence for due diligence.
• Monitor and escalate unusual activities or AML flags.
• Participate in AML/CFT training and related daily tasks.
• Liaise with regional teams to share knowledge and ensure compliance standards.
• Perform general administration aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle and review all enquiries raised by clients regarding client onboarding (Individual/Corporates).
• Manage personal workload and priority items and ensure timely escalation of key risks/issues to managers.
• Work closely with the stakeholders (Front Office, Compliance, Product etc) and assist clients as required, to obtain all necessary supporting evidence to fulfill KYC/KYB due diligence.
• Monitor, document and escalation unusual activities or AML flags.
• Participate in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other subjects that may form part of the day to day work requirements.
• Liaise with team members across the country and region to facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Any general administration and ancillary activities as may be required and related to the above functions in accordance with the business requirements of the Company.

Requirements

• At least 3 years directly related experience in a Customer Support/KYC/KYB operations/Onboarding/Compliance role with substantial knowledge of relevant rules and regulations and the day-to-day compliance affairs.
• Good knowledge on provisions of local laws, directives, regulations and otherwise standards applicable to subject persons and knowledge of upcoming regulation of virtual currency policies is a strong plus.
• Good proficiency in conducting risk assessments, trigger reviews and enhanced due diligence.
• Proficiency in compliance applications such as World-Check, Liquid, Kodex, etc.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership over the end-to-to-end client onboarding process (knowing different entity types would be advantageous).
• Self-motivated, ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure and stress.
• Detail-oriented with a strong controlled mindset and time management skills.
• Fluency in English and Japanese is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Additional languages would be an advantage.
