Job summary
DRW, a diversified trading firm, seeks a Technical Lead for our Container Infrastructure team to own and improve the Kubernetes platform used by trading desks, data scientists, and enterprise apps, and set engineering standards across hundreds of clusters.
Lead by example, coach engineers, and relentlessly automate tasks while ensuring performance and cost efficiency. Strong Kubernetes administration, networking, storage, and cloud (AWS/GCP) experience are required, including on‑prem familiarity.
Qualifications
- Multiple years of Kubernetes administration experience.
- Deep knowledge of networking, storage, and containerization fundamentals.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve infrastructure, processes, and standards for DRW's Kubernetes platform.
- Work with different business units to ensure onboarding and deployment of applications into DRW's Kubernetes platform.
- Promote DRW's Kubernetes platform with demos, lightning talks, and presentations.
- Relentlessly automate repetitive manual tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our platform’s users.
- Coach engineers on best practices, help solve complex problems, set a high standard for operational and technical excellence
