Job summary

Intrepid Solutions is seeking a Platform Engineer with strong Kubernetes and cloud-native expertise to design and maintain infrastructure on AWS and TKG. The role includes deploying EKS/TKG clusters, implementing GitOps with ArgoCD, and optimizing for cost, performance, and security.

You will work on Istio, Keycloak, Vault, and Terraform modules while collaborating with tenants and other teams to deliver resilient cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software-focused engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EKS, S3 and EC2; deployment on TKG.
• Proficiency with Istio for traffic management and security.
• Experience with Keycloak for access management and Vault for secrets.
• Terraform module development for cloud deployments on AWS/TKG.
• GitOps with ArgoCD and CI/CD experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS and TKG.
• Design scalable, secure cloud-native infrastructure.
• Maintain networking and security configurations for Kubernetes environments.
• Optimize cluster performance and cost efficiency with aligned teams.
• Develop Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
• Set up monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana and implement alerting.
• Troubleshoot issues and document resolutions.
