Job summary

Coupa is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to architect and scale our cloud-native Kubernetes environment across a large fleet of clusters. You will champion automation, drive FinOps practices, and reduce manual toil to enable highly available services for customers.

You will partner with Engineering, DevOps, FinOps, and Finance to deliver cost-efficient, resilient platforms and robust CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and observability across the Kubernetes ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AWS/GCP cloud services.
• Proven platform engineering or SRE experience at enterprise scale.
• Strong cross-functional communication and business alignment skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, manage, and scale enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure (EKS/GKE) for high availability and performance.
• Oversee automated platform optimization and scalable resource management.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and deep observability for Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers and lead architectural initiatives to improve platform resilience and security.
