Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Package Consultant 2 in Charlotte, NC to join the EAIS unit. You will participate in requirements gathering, contribute to ERP solution design, develop and integrate new features, and ensure data integrity across interfaces. You will work in an agile DevOps environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

A Bachelor's degree is required, relocation/travel may be needed, and you’ll develop comprehensive documentation and training to enable effective knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with ERP integration and DevOps practices is preferred.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical development tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders and validate specifications.
  • Assist in solution architecture design and customize ERP package modules.
  • Develop and integrate new features; conduct code reviews and maintain codebase.
  • Configure interfaces, run ETL processes, and ensure data flow between ERP and other apps.
  • Assess performance and ensure security/compliance in ERP customizations.
  • Create documentation and deliver user training for knowledge transfer.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

  • Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
  • Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
  • Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
  • Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
  • Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

Your contribution to the team:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, along with sector focus
  • The ability to handle end to end ERP package customization and implementation
  • A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • A passion for design and hands-on coding experience
  • A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders

Required Skill and Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application delivery
  • Experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting workloads on Kubernetes platforms
  • Experience working in Agile development and DevOps environments understanding of Kubernetes architecture, pods, deployments, services, ingress, namespaces, config maps, secrets, and workload management
  • Experience with Docker, container image creation, image optimization, container registries, and secure image management
  • Working knowledge of Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, YAML configuration, and deployment automation
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar automation platforms
  • Familiarity with Git or other source control systems
  • Knowledge of Linux, networking, DNS, load balancing, REST APIs, relational databases, and SQL concepts
  • Exposure to performance tuning, observability, monitoring, logging, and production support for Kubernetes-based applications
  • Experience using JIRA and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, or equivalent Kubernetes services is preferred
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
