Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Package Consultant 2 in Richardson, TX, to support Enterprise Application Integration (EAIS). The role involves requirements gathering, ERP customization, system integration, and delivering stable code with robust documentation.

You will work with Pega, REST/SOAP interfaces, and data orchestration across platforms. The position requires hands-on development, strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and adherence to security and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
  • Willingness to relocate and/or travel to project location.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
  • Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
  • Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
  • Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
  • Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
  • Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, along with sector focus
  • The ability to handle end to end ERP package customization and implementation
  • A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • A passion for design and hands‑on coding experience
  • A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
Required Skill And Experience
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Experience in Designing and developing Pega applications, workflows, case types, and user interfaces.

  • Data Transforms

  • Integrations
  • Reports and Dashboards
  • Job schedulers and Queue Processors
  • Experience in Developing REST/SOAP integrations with external systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving production issues using Tracer, Clipboard, Live UI, PAL, and PDC.
  • Ability Optimize application performance and implement best practices.
  • Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies
  • Experience in release management.

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
