Job summary

Infosys in Charlotte, NC seeks a Package Consultant 2 to drive ERP customization and integration across business units. You will help design, develop, and validate configurations, and contribute to architecture for scalable ERP solutions.

You will work in Agile/DevOps environments, configure interfaces, manage deployments, and ensure secure, compliant operations with modern containerized workloads. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; will also consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application delivery.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting workloads on Kubernetes platforms.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, or equivalent Kubernetes services.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders and assist in validating specifications.
  • Contribute to solution architecture design by customizing ERP modules per business requirements.
  • Develop and integrate new features into existing applications; conduct code reviews for stability and compliance.
  • Participate in system integration via interfaces, ETL processes, and data flow between ERP and other apps.
  • Assess ERP performance and ensure customizations comply with security and regulatory standards.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below
  • Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
  • Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
  • Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
  • Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
  • Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

Required Skill And Experience
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application delivery
  • Experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting workloads on Kubernetes platforms
  • Experience working in Agile development and DevOps environments
  • understanding of Kubernetes architecture, pods, deployments, services, ingress, namespaces, config maps, secrets, and workload management
  • Experience with Docker, container image creation, image optimization, container registries, and secure image management
  • Working knowledge of Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, YAML configuration, and deployment automation
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar automation platforms
  • Familiarity with Git or other source control systems
  • Knowledge of Linux, networking, DNS, load balancing, REST APIs, relational databases, and SQL concepts
  • Exposure to performance tuning, observability, monitoring, logging, and production support for Kubernetes-based applications
  • Experience using JIRA and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, or equivalent Kubernetes services is preferred
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
