Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Kubernetes Architect to provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for large-scale Kubernetes production environments. This role focuses on securing, scaling, and integrating cloud-native platforms across multi-cloud and on-prem environments for a critical U.S.

Air Force mission. The position offers hybrid remote work with potential onsite work near Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Kubernetes environments.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and container security.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and support large-scale Kubernetes production environments.
• Provide architectural oversight for Kubernetes infrastructure, including control plane, nodes, networking, storage, security, scalability, and availability.
• Ensure platform resiliency, security, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infra, networking, cloud, and development teams to ensure secure operations.
• Support DevSecOps practices, automation, and CI/CD integration across the environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, resiliency, and efficiency.
