Job summary

Redhill Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated KS2 teacher for Tupton Primary & Nursery Academy. The role is part-time (0.4 FTE) with Thursdays and Fridays only, permanent, and expected to start January 2027 or sooner.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent KS2 teaching abilities, with a passion for English and mathematics and the ability to inspire pupils, colleagues, and families. A commitment to safeguarding is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage, inspire and motivate pupils and colleagues.
• Sound understanding of how children learn and progress in KS2.
• Excellent classroom skills with strong subject knowledge in English and maths.

About You

You must have the ability to engage, inspire and motivate both pupils and colleagues and have the strategic vision to be part of the team moving our vibrant school forward.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in Key Stage 2, and will be able to demonstrate excellent classroom skills, including a sound understanding of how children learn. They will also be able to forge excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and most importantly, our children. They must be team players who are exceptional teachers of English and mathematics, as well as having the knowledge and skills to inspire children’s learning in all wider areas of the curriculum.
