Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Production Planner to create and manage rolling production plans aligned with the master schedule and customer orders, ensuring timely, cost‑effective manufacturing.

You will collaborate across supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to optimize resources, reduce downtime, and maintain accurate MRP data. This role requires 3–5 years in production planning and strong ERP/MRP skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite) and Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and adjust rolling production plan in line with the master production schedule and customer orders.
• Execute clear to build process in collaboration with supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and warehouse operations.
• Create work order priorities and sequencing to maximize efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor production progress and address delays or disruptions.
• Optimize production capacity, labor, and equipment utilization.
• Maintain accurate production planning data in MRP as needed.
• Collaborating with commercial team for expedite requests.
• Collaborating on NPI projects as needed.
• Measure and action KPI performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements opportunities.
